Released on December 10, 2020, Alice in Borderland comes straight from Japan. This is the adaptation of the manga of the same name, created by Aso Haro. In detail, the plot follows an unemployed young man obsessed with video games, who finds himself mysteriously teleported overnight to a parallel dystopian Japan.
In this alternative version of Tokyo, emptied of almost all its inhabitants, he finds himself having to participate with his friends in deadly games. They will have to both succeed in surviving in this hostile universe, but also unravel the mysteries of this universe.
Alice in Borderland is currently made up of two seasons (the second was released in 2022) or 16 episodes in total. They both received positive reviews from Netflix subscribers.
