Since October 7 and until the turn of the year, around 15,000 children are estimated to be born in Gaza, according to a calculation made by Save the Children.
“Pregnant women give birth without medical care and premature babies die in incubators,” says Jason Lee, Save the Children’s country manager, in a press release.
“Fuel must be allowed into Gaza to power the generators and the health facilities must be protected. The violence must stop. We need a ceasefire. We need it now.”
