    Three people under the age of 18 who were traveling in a car have been taken to hospital after they tried to evade a police checkpoint in Olofström during the night.

    When the patrol signaled the car to stop, the driver, who is believed to be a 15-year-old boy, chose instead to accelerate away from the scene.

    A chase began, but ended abruptly when the car drove straight into the forest and crashed.

    The car, which was completely demolished by the collision, has been impounded for a technical examination.
