There are now so many streaming services out there that subscribing to everyone can get very expensive. For this reason, we looked around for alternatives in the German streaming landscape. Is there anywhere else where you can immerse yourself in the world of a series for free? Yes you can!
There are many ad-supported streaming services, where you don’t have to subscribe to watch a series. These include, for example, Freevee, Pluto TV and Rakuten TV. ProSieben offers a free version of Joyn, Crunchyroll has anime. Then there are the media libraries from Arte and Co.

We looked around at the free streaming services and picked out 15 series that we think are particularly worth watching. Not too many new releases and blockbuster series like House of the Dragon and The Last of Us are included. Nevertheless, there are many insider tips to discover.
