The death toll from severe flooding in the US state of Kentucky has risen to 15, said Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, who believes the death toll will climb further as rain continues to fall.
The floods have wiped out entire communities in some of the poorest areas of the United States, and search efforts continue.
– There are still people missing, says Jerry Stacy, emergency manager in the hard-hit Perry county.
