UK police say they have arrested 147 people since yesterday’s riots and demonstrations.
It is communicated through a press release.
Police expect more people to be arrested in the coming days.
– Misinformation is a major driving force behind this horrific violence and we know that many of those participating in these so-called protests are doing so as a direct response to what they have read online, writes Police Chief BJ Harrington.
In recent weeks, a large number of demonstrations and riots have taken place in the UK following the stabbing in Southport. Several have become violent and have been called right-wing extremists by the police.
