There are hardly any big names among the licensed titles on Netflix this week. This is one of the few exceptions led by Meryl Streep Biopic Florence Foster Jenkins and the German comedy 100 Dinge your life with Matthias Schweighöfer and Florian David Fitz. Otherwise it looks rather mau.
Netflix has released 14 new originals in the past few days, which is a remarkable number even given the other outputs of the streaming giant. Of the Netflix blockbuster of the week is the fantasy horror action film Day Shift, in which Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco start the hunt for vampires.
In addition, two popular series are returning: Never in My Life… and Locke & Key. Once again we can see ourselves in the Coming of age story of Devi lose and laugh as much as weep. In the search for the fantastic keys, things get more serious: the epic finale awaits us here.
