In February, work began to reduce the staff from 245 employees to 215, and since then work has been carried out to find solutions that can minimize the number of redundancies, the authority writes in a press release.
But now it is clear that 14 employees will be dismissed from the authority. 13 from the head office in Karlskrona and one from the Malmö office.
– We have implemented several different measures to minimize the number of redundancies, but I understand that it is a heavy message to receive for those who are affected, says Leif Clemedtson, HR manager at Boverket.
