A 13-year-old boy was recently arrested in Uppland’s Väsby with four loaded pistols, according to Aftonbladet’s information.
The boy is connected to a criminal network.
It was last Thursday evening that the arrest took place in a public place in Upplands Väsby.
People raised the alarm that the boy was seen carrying a bag that appeared to contain weapons. According to Aftonbladet’s information, the boy was held in place by members of the public until the police arrived.
The police were then able to establish that the 13-year-old was carrying four pistols. The bag should also have contained magazines and silencers.
The police confirm that they had an intervention but do not want to go into details because it is led by prosecutors.
Was seized
The case is led by Chamber Prosecutor Urszula Grabowska, who also does not want to go into the case in more detail.
– The matter has just been assigned to me and I have nothing to say at the moment, Grabowska tells Aftonbladet.
The weapons, which must have been judged to be sharp, were confiscated. They have now been taken to weapons technicians for a final answer, which is a routine procedure in gun crimes.
Criminal network
The boy was therefore arrested, suspected of serious weapons offences, and then taken into the care of social services.
According to Aftonbladet’s information, the 13-year-old is judged to be a runner for a criminal network.
