The main attraction of monster films is that the massive creatures can be seen in their full glory as much as possible. The 2014 Godzilla film takes the opposite route, which upset many fans at the time. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards unleashes one with his sci-fi blockbuster oppressive destruction invasion, in which the creature is barely visible. Sat. 1 will air Godzilla from 2014 on Sunday at 10:35 p.m.

In the film’s plot, the son of a scientist who died in a nuclear catastrophe 15 years earlier finds out that the military are guarding a giant cocoon in the exclusion zone. Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his wife Elle (Elizabeth Olsen) must prevent a new disaster in which only the legendary monster Godzilla can help them.

As Slash Film reported, it takes up to the 60th minute in the 123-minute sci-fi blockbuster before the iconic giant lizard in a close-up for the first time you can see.
