Eight out of ten voters say the economy will be a very important issue when casting their vote in this year’s presidential election, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center.
And despite the fact that several experts point to the US economy recovering, and looking increasingly strong, 60 percent of voters describe the country’s economy as either “fairly bad” or “very bad,” according to CBS News.
Donald Trump has made several promises about the economy during his election campaigns. Among other things, to greatly increase the duty on all imported goods and remove certain taxes.
And investigations also shows that a small majority believe that Trump will make better policy decisions regarding the US economy than Kamala Harris.
