According to the Hindustan Times newspaper, a private hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, performed angiography on many people in the villages, although there was no medical need to receive payment from the government.
112 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
After two people died due to faulty angiography, an investigation into the hospital revealed that 112 patients died for the same reason.
Police said medical experts would be assigned to investigate deaths resulting from faulty angiography.
It was announced that 7 people, including the senior manager of the hospital, were detained within the scope of the investigation, and 2 suspects mentioned in the incident were fugitives.
8 THOUSAND 500 PEOPLE RECEIVED TREATMENT
It has been stated that approximately 8,500 patients have received treatment or undergone different surgeries in this private hospital so far, within the scope of insurance that provides free treatment to low-income people in the country.
