The Utrecht police are looking for a missing woman. She was last seen in the vicinity of the Keerkring in De Meern. The woman is 49 years old, has a light -tinted skin color and black hair. It is 150 cm long and wears a backpack. A Burgernet call is distributed.

2.55 pm: injured in accident Vianen

A motorist and a motorcyclist collided in Vianen this afternoon. The accident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of the Helsdingse Achterweg with the Rietkamp.

According to a press photographer, the motorist turned left and overlooked the motorcyclist. It therefore bumped into the car at full speed. According to bystanders it was a huge bang. A person was taken to the hospital.

In Rhenen a scooter rider this afternoon on the back of a stationary car and was injured. The Southern Meentsteeg was then closed in both directions.

According to an 112 photographer, the motorist was “looking at nature”. Presumably the scooter rider had not noticed that. As a result of the blow, the victim had to go to the hospital.

10.19 am: accident with a van on A2

On the A2 motorway, a delivery van was knocked over at the height of Utrecht after a collision. The injury to the driver was eventually “happy”, the police reported. The work bus was less lucky and was quite damaged.

8.50 pm: Camera surveillance at the Baarn home where explosively ended

There are no longer cameras at a house on the Acacialaan in Baarn. An explosive went off at the house on January 31. After the incident, the mayor closed the house temporarily. After it opened again, camera surveillance was set. That supervision will stop from today, Mayor Mark Röell said in a letter yesterday.

Safety in the neighborhood remains priority, and “visible and invisible measures are still being taken,” the mayor said.

This afternoon, the police tried to hold a man in Nieuwegein who was driving around without a license plate. The man ignored the stop sign and tore off. Eventually the agents got to grab him and the driver turned out not to have a driver’s license, the police reported on Instagram.

The man received fines for driving without a driver’s license, holding a cell phone while driving and the fact that he drove 43 kilometers per hour too fast. The agents were further in a forgiving mood, because the motorist did not receive any fines for driving without a license plate and ignoring a stop sign. That had cost him another 600 euros extra.

This morning, the police caught three shoplifters in the collar in an Albert Heijn to Go at Utrecht Central. They tried to steal things and when they were approached, insulted and threatened the staff. All three of them have received a one -year -old shopping ban.

7 am: robbery at gas station

Three masked young people were over again this morning the Esso gas station on the Einsteindreef in Utrecht. They threatened the cassière, took money with them and left.
