10.12 pm: man slaps car with baseball bat
A man went through the ribbon on the Broodheuvel in Hooglanderveen tonight. With a wooden baseball bat he destroyed a car and smashed all the windows. The incident happened around 9.10 pm. The police immediately managed to keep a suspect. According to a police spokesperson, it was a “relational conflict”.
5.48 pm: electric bicycle on fire
A fire broke out this afternoon in an apartment complex on Professor Jan Bronnerlaan in Leidsche Rijn. It turned out to be an electric bicycle. This was taken out of the apartment after the extinguishing action. It is not clear whether a lot of damage has been received, but it is worse due to the rapid action of residents. Many local residents came to see what the fire brigade came for.
5.25 pm: Motorist and co -driver with weapons
Agents today arrested a motorist on the Damweg in Lopik and his co -driver. A reporter had seen that they might have had a weapon with them. During a check, several weapons were found and then seized. They also had to give up their car.

The fire at restaurant Mangos on the Kerkewijk in Veenendaal was extinguished after hours. The building has completely burned out, says a spokesperson for the Utrecht Security Region (VRU).
11.09 am: Drunk moped driver S winds in Utrecht city center
A driver drove drunk on a moped through the Utrecht city center yesterday. That says the traffic police on Instagram. Police officers saw a person swinging on a moped. The person was holding up and had to do a bladder test. It turned out that the driver had five times more alcohol than is allowed.
The driver’s license has been taken and the person must come for the traffic court. The man must also take a course on the use of alcohol in traffic at the CBR.

A drunk traveler was arrested yesterday at Utrecht Central Station after a violent incident at the Albert Heijn to Go. The man scolded employees of the NS Security Service and grabbed one of them by their throat.
9.30 am: Code Geel due to local dense fog
The KNMI warns of locally dense fog and a view of less than 200 meters. The weather institute in De Bilt has therefore issued code yellow. The warning applies until 11 a.m. on Sunday morning. Road traffic in particular can be bothered by the fog.

The police arrested a man on Friday evening for a fight at Utrecht Central Station. It went wrong in the toilets. Four men attacked another.
