9 pm: Mayor Close House in Baarn
Mayor Mark Röell has closed a house on Fresiastraat in Baarn. Last night an explosive went to the house.
According to the residents, a Cobra was stuck and ignited on the letterbox around 3 am. The metal plate and the list of the letterbox were distorted and there is a black spot on the front door. Furthermore, the damage was limited. There were no injuries. The residents say they have no idea who wanted to destroy their door or why.
The property will remain closed for at least ten days.
5.20 pm: Rijkswaterstaat gets photographer from the highway
Rijkswaterstaat has taken someone from the highway. The amateur photographer crossed the road twice at the Hoevelaken junction to take snapshots. Then Rijkswaterstaat thought it was enough and took the Waaghals off the road.
5 p.m.
A 39-year-old man from Doorn destroyed windows from a flat on Hoog Moersbergenlaan yesterday evening. Residents then called the police, who held him. The police do not want to say what preceded the incident. It is also not known whether the man is still stuck.
4.20 pm: Drugs in storage boxes found at check in Amerongen
During a check of storage boxes in Amerongen, drugs and all kinds of things for hemp cultivation were found yesterday. According to the police, no people have yet been arrested.
There were goods for hemp cultivation in a box, soft drugs were found in another box. The police also found “substances similar in a third box” in a third box, investigation still has to show what it is.
11.49 am: Explosion at the front door Baarn
Again an explosive in Baarn went off at a front door. Last night fireworks on the Fresiastraat exploded on the door. The residents and their neighbors are shocked. Nobody was injured.
10.00 am: car dangles upstairs after missed turn
On the Peter van den Breemerweg in Soest, a motorist got off the road this morning. The driver missed a sharp turn, hit a lamppost and came to a halt above a ditch. The fire brigade has taken the two passengers out of the car. They have been checked by ambulance personnel, a police spokesperson reports.
9.45 am: Police find sheep on n-road
Two agents of the animal police looked up on last night when he received the report that forty sheep were walking on the N229 near Wijk bij Duurstede. He went to take a closer look and did indeed find the animals there. A cop then kept the sheep off the road, while the other woke the owner.

9.40 am: no trains between Breukelen and Maarssen
There will be no sprinters between Breukelen and Maarssen until 2 a.m. That is due to a changeover failure. The Dutch Railways is restricted to the malfunction is printed buses between the two stations.

A motorist rammed the crash barrier on the A1 near Baarn last night. The BMW driver ended up with two wheels in the roadside on the other side and with two wheels on the crash barrier. The driver was released with a fright, but the car was considerably damaged. It was lifted and removed by a Berger from the Vangrail.
