A shoplifter wanted to strike hard this afternoon in an Albert Heijn in Maarssen. The thief wanted to take almost 1200 euros worth of groceries but only scanned a dessert for 35 cents. The cart contained all kinds of stuff, such as garbage bags, cola and fuet sausages, can be seen on the receipt that the Stichtse Vecht police shared on social media. The suspect has been arrested.
