9.49 pm: Failure at KNMI
Due to a power outage at the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI) in De Bilt, there are no measurements available from the weather and quake stations since 10 a.m. this morning. The KNMI announces tonight that a solution is being worked on, but that the problem now takes longer than hoped.
The power outage itself has been remedied, but due to a defect in a device there are problems with the network traffic of the meteorological and seismological stations of the KNMI. The measurements at the stations themselves will continue, but cannot be seen on the website and in the KNMI app. The network device must be replaced.
6.30 pm: A27 and A28 delay over
Motorists around Utrecht had to take considerable delay at the end of the afternoon and at the beginning of the evening. Accidents had happened at Houten and Rijnsweerd junction. The delay is now over.
4.16 pm: two men arrested for drug trafficking
The police arrested two men this afternoon for trade in drugs. A large amount of hard drugs was found and seized in a house on Goeman Borgesiuslaan in Utrecht. The police say the police and how many drugs are still being investigated. The house is urgently closed by order of the mayor.
A man from Utrecht and a man with an unknown place of residence and residence have been arrested. The police do not exclude several arrests.

The trains between Utrecht Lunetten and Houten run again. Due to a broken rail, the train traffic was out there since Monday evening. In the meantime, the track has been repaired again.
11.21 am: collision between two cars in Soesterberg
In Soesterberg, two cars crashed hard this morning. That happened around 11 am at the intersection between the N413 and Mercury. According to a press photographer on the spot, two people were injured in the accident, but a police spokesperson cannot confirm that. In addition to two ambulances, the fire brigade was also present after the accident.
11.04 am: Water supply break in the center of Amersfoort
In the center of Amersfoort this morning a water pipe jumped in the Hellestraat. Water flowed towards Molenstraat through the leak. A supermarket also became white. The water was pumped away with the help of machines.
Mechanics from Drinking Water Company Vitens had repaired the water supply around 10 am. The leadership jumped is not known.

11.00 am: motorist drives on after accident
Last night a scooter and a car collided in Amersfoort. The accident took place at the intersection of the Wiekslag and the Van Randwijcklaan. The driver of the car drove through after the accident and was probably not injured, says the police spokesman. The police investigate what happened and are looking for the motorist.
The scooter rider was taken to the hospital for inspection by the ambulance. A recovery company took the scooter.
