A cyclist was hit by a motorist at the intersection of Bunschoterweg and Maatweg in Amersfoort on Saturday evening. It appears that the cyclist was seriously injured. A trauma helicopter was deployed for support and the victim was urgently transferred to the UMC in Utrecht. The police continued to investigate the cause of the accident for some time.
