Sweden suffered its first World Cup loss in the semi-finals.

It was a very heavy loss for Sweden in the WC semi-final against Spain on Tuesday. The WC final dream was crushed and now the Swedes have to aim for a bronze match instead.
Blue-yellow disappointment
After the match, the disappointment has been great and many Swedes have accused the referee Edina Alves Batista for an unfair stake and too much favor for Spain. Several blue-yellow players expressed clear criticism of the Brazilian referee immediately after the final whistle.

Now the Sirén news agency reports that a person has reported the WC referee to the Ombudsman for Justice, JO. According to the report, the judge must have acted unfairly and “felt bribed by various countries”, it is reported.

Unfair judge
The person who contacted JO is the 11-year-old boy Gabriel Olofssonfrom Stavby outside Uppsala.
– I have seen most of the matches that Sweden played and I think that the referee judged quite unfairly against Sweden. Among other things, there have been a lot of things that people faked but that the referee still blew, he tells Sportbladet.

When the WC semi-final ended and it was clear that Sweden would lose, Gabriel acted immediately. Together with the sister and a friend, they started googling how they could report and found the JO’s official website.
– I thought you could report what you think is wrong. So then I searched for it and it came up after a while. I thought I’d do it for fun, I didn’t think anything would come of it unless more people sent in, the boy says in the interview.

But there will be nothing more from little Gabriel’s JO application, as they do not have football as their area of work, but instead audit the Swedish authorities. Mother Sigrid Agenäs can admit that his son’s emotions overflowed after the match ended.
– Gabriel was very disappointed and angry when the final whistle went. But now it’s over. I don’t know how he found JO’s website. But he’s probably quite resourceful. I also spoke to him and said that you shouldn’t look too much at the referee. But he stood his ground!, she tells the evening newspaper.
