Liverpool won the football English League Cup for a record ninth time.
Liverpool won the football after the dramatic stages of the English League Cup at Wembley Stadium on Sunday night when it defeated Chelsea in a penalty shootout 11-10.
The actual playing time and overtime of the match were played without goals, and the drama was created by four unsuccessful goals. Three of them were rejected by Chelsea. In the penalty shootout competition, all the field players succeeded, ie after 20 shots they were even 10-10. The goalkeepers were left, and Liverpool were on guard Caoimhin Kelleher succeeded in a sure way.

Liverpool coach Jürgen Kloppista became the first German coach to win the league cup. For Klopp, the Wembley final was the third in his career, and now the first victory in the British football sanctuary was snapped up.
– You can now give some space to the lessons. Caoimhin Kelleher is a young boy and he played throughout the competition (league cup journey). I couldn’t tell him you wouldn’t play in the finals. I am a coach and a man, and the man won. He deserves this, Klopp sensitized.
– And I’m glad that in these gloomy times, people can celebrate this. Chelsea is an incredibly strong team and we were completely laid back. Good luck was needed, Klopp continued.
Liverpool are still in search of four trophies this season. In the English FA Cup, it will face on Wednesday Teemu Pukin represented by Norwich, and in the Premier League, the team is six points behind the top club in Manchester City. Even in the Champions League, the games continue.
