Hardly anyone in German-speaking countries is better known on Twitch than Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris (35). The streamer is a huge GTA fan and has spent more than 650 hours playing GTA 5 alone. You can find out what he had to say about the long-awaited trailer for GTA 6 here.
What is MontanaBlack’s relationship to GTA? The 35-year-old is a long-time fan of the series. His favorite is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas from 2004. On Twitch, MontanaBlack has spent more than 650 hours just playing GTA 5.
In 2022, MontanaBlack created a huge hype about GTA 5 on Twitch with his RP appearances before sending his character “Don Olaf Schaf” into retirement. With the first official trailer for GTA 6
However, the video that launched MontanaBlack’s career wasn’t about GTA:
MontanaBlack is thrilled: “So much attention to detail”
What does MontanaBlack say about GTA 6? The trailer is extremely well received by the streamer. The 35-year-old has a particular weakness for the setting in Vice City, which is based on Miami, and the flair of the trailer: “I like this look, the optics, […] is a dope vibe.”
The streamer is even reminded of a colleague: the mustachioed Dr Disrespect. That’s his vibe, says MontanaBlack.
With his many years of experience, MontanaBlack knows that the graphics in a trailer can differ from the actual visuals in the game, but he still emphasizes how much he likes what he sees. “If I had to give the trailer a grade, from 1 to 10 […]then I would give the thing an 11,” says the streamer in summary.
However, the anticipation of the upcoming GTA 6 also brings back memories for the streamer:
According to the streamer, everyone associates GTA with a good time. For him, as “old iron”, these are the older parts. For him, in addition to the story, it is the diversity and the exploration of the map that make GTA what it is and give the series its special appeal.
However, the best GTA for him is still San Andreas, enthuses MontanaBlack. Back then there was no online mode or anything like that, you just went to the gym with your character so that he didn’t get “fat”. That was “beautiful,” said the streamer.
You can watch the whole reaction here:
MontanaBlack already has plans for the release – by which he will be 37, as the streamer realizes with horror: The first thing he wants to do in the game is steal a car and use it to run over people and beat them up. Of course, all of this should happen in the stream, says MontanaBlack.
In a spontaneous vote, his viewers even believe that GTA 6 on Twitch could be even bigger than Fortnite, which has just set crazy records of its own. Whether they are right will not be seen until 2025 at the earliest.
However, like his Twitch colleague Mcky, there is one drawback for MontanaBlack: he would prefer to jump into RP as soon as the game is released. However, it could still be a few years before there is an online mode and thus the possibility of role-playing.
The 35-year-old even fears he’ll be 40 by then.
Twitch: “I want to experience it in my lifetime” – Mcky reacts to the GTA 6 trailer and predicts the release
