A new kind of light show awaits you in November in this popular garden.
Luminous routes, illuminated monuments, video mapping, as the end-of-year holidays approach, cities are adorned with their most beautiful clothes of light. And in the capital, ideas abound ever more. After the phenomenal success of the Dragons and Lanterns Festival which attracted nearly 165,000 visitors who came to admire the illuminations of Shanghai last year in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, this time it is monumental creatures who will coexist with lanterns , in the heart of Paris!
As you stroll through the alleys of this Parisian park, prepare yourself to come face to face with the most fearsome predators that have ever existed: T. rex, Triceratops, Diplodocus, Velociraptors, Allosaurs… You are immersed in the heart of the era of dinosaurs in the light of lanterns! For three months, from Friday November 29, 2024 to Sunday March 2, 2025, they will peacefully occupy the paths of the Jardin d’Acclimatation after dark.
“The Dinosaur Ball” is 40 species of titans from the Mesozoic era, or a total of 100 dinosaurs, who will be waiting for you with firm paws in the middle of some 2,000 lanterns, every day, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., spread over an area of 6 hectares in the heart of the Jardin d’Acclimatation! A light show of another kind, never seen before! Please note that the park’s attractions will be closed during these nights, except the Ferris Wheel, Jurassic Island 360°C and VR XPeriences, which require an additional charge.
The light show will be accessible every day of the week, except Mondays and Tuesdays, and outside school vacation periods. For a dated ticket, count 18 euros per ticket for adults and children aged 12 and over, 12 euros per ticket for children aged 4 to 11 and 14 euros per ticket for seniors, large families, job seekers, people with RSA, disabilities and their companion. On the other hand, you will have to pay a little more for an undated ticket: count on 25 euros from 12 years old and 19 euros from 4 to 11 years old. Children under 4 years old are of course free.
