A 10-storey building named ‘Metropol’ collapsed in Abadan, Iran. While search and rescue efforts continue in the building, which is estimated to have many people under the rubble because it is under construction, it was announced that there were 10 dead and 32 injured. It has been reported that studies on the cause of the collapse of the building are being carried out.
7 MORE PEOPLE RESCUE
The Iranian Red Crescent said that they participated in the work on the building that collapsed yesterday with a team of 12 people. They stated that as a result of the ongoing search and rescue efforts, 7 more people were rescued from the wreckage in the early hours of this morning.
INVESTIGATION
As a result of the incident, many people were under the goose. The search continues with the help of teams sent from the surrounding provinces. Authorities said they were investigating why the building collapsed.
