First stop: the Michael’s Chapel. Jan: “Before it was restored, it was a lot darker here.” Instead of the three layers of stained glass, there is now only one. Much more light comes through now, making the orange, yellow, blue and purple hues of the stained glass much more visible. “Homely, isn’t it?”
