Koei Tecmo is happy and lets us know. In a recent tweet, the Japanese publisher shares its joy in letting us know that the playable demo of Dynasty Warriors Origins has been downloaded over a million times. A figure which encompasses the three platforms which are the PC, the PS5 and the Xbox Series, which proves the enthusiasm around this game which is returning from it. It must be said that the publisher and Omega Force have decided to review their copy concerning this license which is already almost 30 years old, after having worn it to the core. But by choosing to return to the fundamentals of the series, by getting closer to Souls-like in its gameplay, and by offering a much more convincing 3D engine, Dynasty Warriors Origins has once again jumped on the hype train. It remains to be seen whether these million curious players will be ready to take the plunge and purchase the game when it is released on January 17.
